Why this color palette works so well

Greenish blues are directly across the color wheel from yellows and oranges, so these colors are a match made on the color wheel, lol. Muted mustard gold and butterscotch colors coordinate perfectly with softened blue greens.

  1. I love this mood board. I have my guest room painted sea salt and it looks very light blue compared to your mood board. Maybe if I bring in some of these other color pieces it will help transform the color. Thank you!

    1. Hi Mary. I’m glad you like this new mood board! Sea Salt can look very different depending on lighting, surrounding items, etc. You might consider using warm light bulbs if it looks too blue for you. Have a great day! ~ Angie
